Des pierres glanées sur des plages Normandes
en juin 2015 et deux tuiles
d’ardoises venant du clocher de la
maison communale de Chênée en région
Liégeoise. Les petites pierres m’ont été offertes
par ma mère.
Le dispositif électronique se compose d’un
looper sampler et un petit programme de delay/
pitch sur tablette numérique. Deux microphones
et un micro contact sur chaque tuile
d’ardoise.
Le jeux est comme indiqué sur la partition
de Wolff. Tout à été réalisé en une seul prise.
Captation sonore réalisée dans mon studio en
février 2017. Une compression et une petite
réverb ont été ajouté en post-production.

Stones gleaned on Norman beaches in June
2015 and two slate tiles from the bell tower of
the communal house of Chênée in the Liège
region. The small stones were offered to me
by my mother.
The electronic device consists of a looper
sampler and a small delay / pitch program on
a digital tablet. Two microphones and a micro
contact on each slate tile.
The game is as shown on Wolff’s score. Everything
was done in one take. Sound recording
made in my studio in February 2017. A compression
and a small reverb were added in
post-production.
